Wintel Administrator – Investment Banking – Hong Kong recruitment
The Company
Our client, a leading global investment bank, is urgently seeking a highly experienced Wintel Administrator to join its Hong Kong based team responsible for the support of the bank’s Wintel, Virtualization, Remote Desktop infrastructure.
The Role
This is a production operation support role as well as a team management role that includes day-to—day and out of hours support. You will also be responsible for administration, installation, maintenance and monitoring of enterprise-wide systems, project and vendor management. You will work closely with application developer, DBA, UNIX and Wintel teams to provide solutions, diagnose and troubleshoot problems etc. You will also carry out large data migrations, work with regional and global heads to deploy Wintel Technology as per global standards and participate in audit and regulatory field-work.
Your Profile
You will be a highly experienced technical Wintel Administrator with at least 8 years experience with team lead or managerial experience while remaining hands-on in your current role. You will have deep knowledge of VMWare ESX, Windows Server Administration and Citrix XenDesktop. Preferably you will be certified in these however MCSE 2003+ is essential. You will also be experienced in Netbackup 6.x/TSM and SAN/NAS Solution. You will be skilled in Perl and Shell Scripting, be fluent in English and Cantonese, with Mandarin an advantage. ITIL certification is preferred as is Investment Banking experience.
