A Wintel Technical Specialist is required to join a leading UK IT Services provider to join a high profile Government deployment project. This is an excellent opening for experienced Wintel professionals who has proven experience of Wintel Server Implementation and deployments, from Windows 2003 to Windows 2008, to join an organisation with excellent career prospects and challenging project openings.
The successful Wintel Technical Specialist's responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Wintel Server implementation and deployment, problem investigation and resolution, the planning and implementation of requested customer hardware and software changes, assessing user requirements and formulating technical specifications that are cost effective and accurate for customer needs, implement and maintain a standard methodology for the planning and installation of infrastructure solutions and preparing and producing systems documentation in accordance with company processes and standards.
Applicants will need to have proven Wintel project experience including Windows Infrastructure implementation and deployment. You will have excellent technical skills with Windows Infrastructure including Windows 2003 to Windows 2008 and strong Active Directory exposure. Preferably you will be MCSE certified and your technical experience will ideally include: Citrix, Virtualisation solutions (VMWare Hyper-V), Networks, Storage and Data Centre solutions.
