Wireless Construction Project Manager

Right now we are assisting one of our clients in the search for a Wireless Construction Project Manager. The Project Manager in coordination with the Program Manager and Regional Manager, is responsible for the overall management of construction projects within a given market that may span multiple geographic regions. Additional responsibilities include:

Provides technical, administrative, and operational leadership to assigned project or tasks. Typically responsible for managing multiple tasks or a single large project and supervising up to 25 employees both exempt and non-exempt and may include one or more subordinate supervisors. Technical difficulty/complexity of assigned tasks/projects may also affect level selection.
Participates in the development of technical project plans, proposals, reports, and task order and administrative reporting.
Conducts planning and provides recommendations to client on task workload.
Attends customer meetings and may serve as primary client liaison.
Interacts with vendors, other agencies, and other client staff on behalf of the client.
Coordinates development of deliverables and products.
Ensures quality assurance of project deliverables.

Requirements for this position are as follows:

BS degree preferred
Minimum 5 years of management level experience in the wireless construction field.
General knowledge of and ability to create and review Construction Drawings, Zoning Drawings, implement SOW's, negotiate with General Contractors related to scope, pricing, and build plan.
In depth knowledge of Wireless processes and deployment of Fiber, Microwave, UMTS, 3G, LTE, Wimax and other platforms is critical.
Experience within their local market including prior wireless builds, construction vendors and local jurisdiction timelines and processes.
Ability to negotiate difficult terms and present difficult concepts and ideas in a manner which is easily understood.
PMP Certification preferred.
