WM IT APAC Development Lead (Senior VP) – Top-tier Bank recruitment
Responsibilities:
• End-to-end accountability of the development unit
• Overall accountability for development unit and all its deliverables' quality. Ensure the software systems are properly designed and implemented, and compliant to our SDLC process for each project delivery
• Manage the core team which implement and deliver the common framework and building blocks for all SDC applications
• Manage and develop on-going relationship with regional stakeholders including location IT, infrastructure, production support team etc
• Drive development excellence, including application design, coding standards, and secure development best practice
• Continually improve knowledge of development processes and application within teams. Drive on development process improvement and working model streamlining
• Resources planning management. Develop talent / Build competence in development team
• Work closely with other function heads and IT teams to ensure deliverables are in compliance with bank standards and architectural models
Requirements:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science
• 10+ years of experience in the analysis, design, implementation and support of large complex environments
• 8+ years of experience in developing J2EE web applications
• 6+ years of experience in leading technical teams
• Strong technical skills in Core Java, J2EE, Database Web Applications, Multithreading, and Security
• Good knowledge of design/modeling standards (UML, design patterns etc.), database design, and agile development technique and processes
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational and leadership skills
• Managing offshore teams
