Women’s Health Specialist

At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Women's Health Specialist for our West Texas and Southern New Mexico territory.
This position is primarily responsible for closing new business in the specialized Women"€™s Health market. This includes owning the call point on OBGYN, fertility clinics, and reproductive endocrinology, perinatology and maternal fetal medicine groups. The Women"€™s Health AE will manage the transition of the account to an Account Sales Representative for day to day account maintenance. The Women"€™s Health AE will maintain an on-going relationship with key decision makers to ensure successful execution of the strategic plan and continue to seek opportunities that strengthen Quest Diagnostics relationship with these customers.
Job Accountabilities
"€¢ Target and close new Women"€™s Health opportunities through IAR leads, referrals from both internal and external resources.
"€¢ Identify new business opportunities by partnering with Health Plan and Hospital Sales colleagues, business development and other local resources.
"€¢ Deliver sales proposals for new business and manage all interfaces between the client and the Company during the negotiation and contracting phase using all standard processes, procedures and templates
"€¢ Develop strategy for engaging with key decision-makers in the accounts.
"€¢ Develop a value proposition for each specific target considering their unique needs and our capabilities.
"€¢ Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, consistent follow-up and regular call cycles.
"€¢ Develop a full pipeline including thorough, accurate forecasting of new business volume and revenue.
"€¢ Ensure Operations is prepared to provide service delivery and support for unique client requirements.
"€¢ Close new business which meets required thresholds for operating margin.
"€¢ Understand and leverage all tools and resources (including sales portal, target lists, Care 360, e-orders, e-prescribe)
"€¢ Provide overall support and expertise to new accounts to ensure clients receive highest level of quality service utilizing operational personnel (e.g.: Customer Solutions) to resolve problems.
"€¢ Partner with ASR"€™s and AM"€™s to effectively transition the day to day customer relationship at an appropriate time based on the maturity of the account relationship; retains ownership for growing the account.
"€¢ Provide subject matter expertise for our full Women"€™s Health portfolio including genetic and molecular tests, services and connectivity. Be key decision maker in use of and access to our Genetic Counselors.
"€¢ Work with local Health Plan teams to serve as the product expert on Women"€™s Health relative to access, coverage and reimbursements.
"€¢ Develop relationships and drive collaboration with local vendor representatives for related Women"€™s Health products.
"€¢ Participate with local leadership and in regional market strategy meetings in developing overall business unit plans for increasing volume and profitability through implementation of national strategies and marketing initiatives.
"€¢ Work with Marketing to develop proactive approaches to competitors"€™ new products and services.
"€¢ Ensure total compliance with all company polices and government regulations.
Job Requirements - Incumbent should possess the knowledge, skills and experience usually obtained by:
"€¢ Bachelor's degree in a Business, Marketing, or the Life Sciences.
"€¢ Strong medical/scientific background and contemporary understanding of both genetics and molecular diagnostics testing,
"€¢ Five years of experience in laboratory, healthcare or diagnostic sales.
"€¢ Women"€™s Health experience preferred.
