The Company
This highly reputable and well established Workers Compensation provider centrally located in the CBD is currently seeking an experienced Claims Injury Assessor who will effectively manage a portfolio of front end claims from a small number of their larger corporate clients.
This fast paced role will see you form part of a dynamic team who thrive on achieving successful return to work outcomes for both the injured worked and the client within WorkCover guidelines.
The Opportunity
Other main responsibilities of this role include:
- Liaising with injured workers, employers, treating practitioners and external stakeholders
- Determining liability and providing estimates on all claims
- Coordinating the necessary treatment for injured workers
- Managing daily workflow to maintain client service standards
- Preparing and conducting regular claims reviews and organising case conferences
- Both facilitating and attending case conferences
- Providing a cost effective, efficient, professional and client focused service
About You
To be considered for these roles you will have the following:
- Previous workers compensation case management experience (1-2 years)
- Allied Health Qualification will be highly regarded
- Strong knowledge of current legislation and guidelines
- Ability to achieve results in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Strong organisational and time management skills
