ABC is the construction industry's voice with the legislative, executive, and judicial branches of the federal government and with state and local governments, as well as with the news media.

Opportunity – Immediate Opening for Workforce Development Director
Position Overview – The Workforce Development Director is responsible for the overall management of the Associated Builders and Contractors of Western Pennsylvania’s Workforce Development Program including Safety, Management, Apprenticeship, and Pre-Apprenticeship Education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage department and supervise staff responsible for adult education and vocational training.
- Manage PL for Department.
- Manage all aspects of membership education to meet needs.
- Fund development responsibilities including networking, serving on boards and committees and grant development.
Qualifications Required:
· Minimum of 3 years of related experience including some supervisory responsibilities
· Experience in the construction industry is preferred, not a must
· Strong supervisory skills
· Proven Relationship Management skills
· Excellent Project Management skills
· Exceptional organizational skills
· Proven ability to engage resources to source solutions
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Proficient in MS Office Suite
· Bachelor Degree in Business, Political Science or Humanities
· Some experience in training is preferred
