Workforce Planning Co-ordinator Job in Kent, Southern UK

Background

An opportunity has arisen in the Central Workforce Planning Team within Customer Service Operations at AXA PPP healthcare.

The Operations department are responsible for the operational planning, budgeting, analysis, change management and MI requirements of Customer Service. This is a fixed term contract of a minimum of 6 months to cover maternity leave.

The role

You will be part of a small team whose responsibilities will consist of manning the Workforce Planning helpline, processing holiday and shift swaps requests, identifying potential resourcing issues and ensuring that actions are taken to resolve them, so that area service level agreements are met.

In addition, the area is responsible for maximising flexible working and ad-hoc training opportunities, whilst maintaining Service Level targets.

Skills, knowledge and behaviour

This is primarily a phone based role and the successful candidate would need clear communicating skills and an ability to negotiate with colleagues at all levels.

You will need to be a good team player, possess an excellent telephone manner, have the ability to focus on results and make decisions. Attention to detail is a must. Familiarity with the Central Workforce Planning Methodology and experience of Microsoft Excel would be an advantageous but is not essential.
