Duties
Bowhead is looking for a programmer with experience in Workload Simulator (WSIM) Performance Testing to assist in the development of new WSIM test WSIM test scripts and provide test data support for the execution of high volume performance testing.
This programmer will also support the DIET performance testing activities for mainframe systems written in CICS and WebSphere and assist in the process of transitioning the legacy mainframe applications written in CICS to WebSphere.
Other activities will include:
- Review progress of change records to ensure timely migration to / installation in the appropriate Integration environment.
- Report testing progress in appropriate venues, to Team Leads, and Branch Chief.
- Develop, update and execute WSIM scripts.
- Monitors and provides reports on performance testing using WSIM.
- Re-baseline test data required for high volume testing.
- Document, update, and implement test plans.
- Attendance at appropriate coordination meetings including, but not limited to Initial Planning Meetings (IPM) and regular Division Forecast meetings.
- Provide status reports of meetings to appropriate individuals and ensure Branch Chief maintains a regular awareness of all activities and workload status.
- Ensure accuracy of the Agency's Online Software Release Form (OSRF).
- Ensure accuracy of the Division's testing progress check lists.
- Interface with all Branches within the Division, and appropriate testing individuals, to ensure migration of workloads into appropriate Integration test environments per agreed upon timelines.
