Description Analyzes and determines best course of action on delinquent or potentially delinquent mortgage loans. Assists existing borrowers who may be experiencing difficulty meeting their monthly financial obligations by skillfully probing and evaluating borrowers for various workout programs, including loan modifications. This position requires the ability to apply credit skills and sound judgment, focusing on key areas of the borrower's ability, stability and willingness to repay their loan. May require a strong understanding of and the ability to educate borrowers on the efforts and outcomes of government modification programs. Handles routine levels of transactions with oversight by senior staff and managers to complete daily tasks. Typically will have more than 2-4 years experience with a working knowledge of the mortgage business and general office skills. Qualifications Required Skills: Excellent leadership, analytical and interpersonal skills. Must have superior communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and within time constraints. Must be a team player. Proven ability to engage and positively influence associates and peers. Collection experience required. Desired Skills: Ability to embrace change with a positive approach. Above average customer service and analytical skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills is a plus.
