Purpose
To lead co-ordinate and manage the interactions and tasks needed to support the Project Life Cycle between the project teams and the IT Service Delivery Teams. To analyze change impacts on existing service catalog. To analyze and validate architecture to implement or modify for any change. To define service level requirements for any project. To identify Service Delivery tasks , workload and plan.
Primary Responsibilities:
Service Design
- Analyze change impacts on service catalog
- Analyze and validate architecture with the project manager, the infrastructure provider and the solution architect team
- Ensure the DTS Business Case proposals are vetted and challenged
- Define Service Level Requirements
- Create of update service definition
- SLA definition with Service Level Manager
Project Management as Service Delivery work stream leader
- Identify all Service Delivery tasks to realize within projects (this also include infrastructure provider tasks – DTS )
- Define the Service Delivery and DTS workload
- Define a planning with Service Delivery Resource managers, project managers and process managers.
- Coordinate activities within his/her Work Stream based on agreed plan provided by the Project Manager. (DTS activities included)
- Ensure ITSD resource allocation and delivery commitment
- Participate in project’s follow-up meetings
- Participate in post implementation review
- Participate in Change Advisory Board
- Participate in Test Control Board
- Participate in Release candidate meeting
- Participate in release acceptance meeting
- Define a test and production release plan
- Obtain required signoffs for ITSD checklist (Support, monitoring, capacity, availability, continuity and SLM)
Links with Service management process
- Analyze change impact on continuity
- Link with DTS for backup/restore procedures
- Analyze change impact on availability
- Link with DTS to implement Newtest scenario (Availability monitoring)

Technical Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of ITIL service management processes
- Good knowledge of Operating systems (AIX 5.3, solaris 9/10,Windows 2000/2003
- Good knowledge of Business Intelligence (BO, WEB-I, Crystal Report, BODI)
- Good knowledge of Database (Oracle 10G,11G, Progress 10.x)
- Good knowledge of Middleware (OAS 10G, Websphere,MQ, Message Broker, Sonic MQ)
- Network (SSH, FTP, HTTP, PGP/GPG encryption)
Language Skills:
- English (Good level)
- French (Good level)
Key Organization Relationships:
- Reports to the IT Service Delivery Project Delivery Manager in Luxembourg
- Closely collaborates with Transition and project support teams
- Key internal contacts include: IT project managers, Development teams, Process managers, support teams
- Key external contacts include: DTS service owner and technical analyst, Vendors providing external software
