Worldlink Operations — Currency Centre Relationship Management recruitment

Job Purpose:
This is a role within the Worldlink team based in the Dublin Service Center. The Worldlink Operations Department is responsible for processing multi currency payments from a single account. The team is looking for a dynamic individual who will take the lead in training new and existing team members and also develop operational procedure materials.

This successful candidate will be required to work both independently and manage/lead the team in driving results and process improvements/efficiencies, whilst having the ability to be completely adaptable to changing business requirements and deliverables is essential.

We are looking for an individual who speaks a second language fluently to support our global partners.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying and implementing capabilities to support the product.

Key responsibilities:
• Support business initiatives including product/currency expansion; confirming capacity for new business and defining processing capabilities
• Continual review of all local market regulations / practices and identify any effects on product cost and operational impacts and address them accordingly
• Review statistical data and ensure quality service performance by each country.
• Act as a point of contact for Product, Service and Operations staff across the globe for questions related to the WorldLink Currency Center Network for operational processing and regulatory questions
• Act as liaison or escalation point for non performance related issues, scorecard management and STP initiatives.
• Account opening for new capabilities to support the product.
• Audit preparation (Corporate and ISO).
• Ensuring all daily functions is completed in accurate and timely fashion.
• Hands on approach to problem management and daily functions.
• Proactive identifications and resolution of problems.
• Deal appropriately with escalations.
• Contribute to maintenance and review of accurate and signed SLAs at all times

Skills

Knowledge/ experience:
• Strong knowledge of system set and product set. Must be familiar and competent on all relevant systems. (SWIFT, FX, Project management)
• Must be able to use experience to identify possible issues before they arise and also to be pro-active in resolving such issues.
• Must have the ability to multi-task by taking on extra ad-hoc tasks without letting the day-to-day tasks suffer.
• Strong investigative and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently within a team environment.
• Citi Cert in Financial Services while not fully necessary would be advantageous
• Crisis market management knowledge preferable.

Technical: Understanding of the product, reconcilements, knowledge of key applications desirable. High aptitude for proactive problem analysis and resolution.

Experience Required:
• 3 + years' experience in relevant field
• Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, requirements process process mapping
• Strong proficiency in Windows, MS Project, and MS Office Suite, Exceptional Excel skills - Preferred.
• Demonstrates ability to be a team player
• Education: Qualifications in project management is a requirement qualifications in finance/operations/banking discipline would be advantageous. E.g.: Citi Cert in Financial Services
