The Worldwide Engineer III is a full-time position which services primarily corporate, retail, and campus-based onsite clients typically on a same day basis.
- An essential duty of the position of Technician is to repair satellite dishes on the roofs of homes and office buildings by the use of an extension ladder. The ladders used by WWTS have been rated by the American National Standards Institute (ASNI) to hold a maximum total weight (including tool belt and equipment) of 300 lbs. To allow for the weight of equipment an individual weight cannot exceed 250 lbs.
- Provide quality customer service and support for designated equipment
- Install, test, and configure desktop products including networked environments
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of information technology hardware including personal computing systems, printer, satellite systems, and other related peripherals
- Ensure compliance with company standards and procedures
- Climb ladder when required to repair and maintain satellite equipment
- Knowledge/3+ years experience in:
- PCs (Desktop and Mobile platforms)
- Printers (Dell, IBM, HP, Lexmark, Cannon)
- Satellite experience a must
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems
- A+ Certification or technical school certification
- Reliable transportation with valid registration and insurance
- Must be able to pass criminal background and driving investigation
- Ability to drive long distances up to 6 hours per day
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to withstand long periods of exposure to outside elements
- Ability to successfully pass agility test
- Ability to lift 60lbs
