Writer / Public Relations Associate recruitment

 Responsibilities

 • Work with portfolio managers, marketing, and other appropriate parties across the firm to create white papers, press releases, bylines in media, and investor newsletters

• Handle day-to-day PR work such as quote review, media inquiries, and supervision of media during interviews of firm employees

• Manage online presence including external-facing firm web site content and social media

• Create, review, and edit scripts for video presentations, media interviews, and investor presentations

• Maintain CRM system for media

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a content writer at a public relations firm or a current reporter; financial services industry experience strongly preferred

• Ability to deliver and write with short deadlines; quick turnaround is a must

• Dallas location/relocation is a must.

• Because of the complex nature of the firm’s investment strategies, this individual is expected to have strong conceptual and analytical skills, ideally with knowledge of credit and structured products

• Excellent communication skills and ability to function well as part of a team

• BA/BS or related business degree from a well-regarded institution, MBA a plus

• The successful candidate must have a strong sense of pride, passion, ownership and personal accountability
