Writer/Content Specialist recruitment
You will report to the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Pitch, write, edit and promote engaging content
- Present and edit timely, original stories and blog post ideas on a daily basis
- Produce two stories (blog post length) per dayWrite two features per week, and occasionally copy for accompanying slideshowsMaintain an active social media presence and vigorously promote the content you produce - grow traffic through creative use of social media
- Implement best practices of Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”)
- Update the site with breaking news, analysis, blog posts, video, slideshows and more, optimizing web traffic, promoting content on social media and growing our community
- Be an active and supportive member of our marketing team
Desired Skills Experience
Requirements:
- Degree holder with 2 years experience in reporting, online editorial, feature writing, and blogging on wealth
- Very strong writing skills, including headlines and teaser copy
- Must be an organized multi-tasker who manages own time proactively
- Comfortable working in unstructured environment
- Basic understanding of HTML, Photoshop and publishing platforms
- Must have thorough knowledge of online media, including experience working with online news outlets and be familiar with major wealth-related blogs, sites, and magazines
- Understanding of Search Engine Optimization (“SEO”).
- Ability to analyze traffic data and track metrics, and respond to them
