Team Descriptions Investment Trust Practice
The Relationship Management Group is responsible for managing all aspects of the overall relationship with customers of WSS. The client relationship manager has overall responsibility for creating and implementing a relationship strategy and calling plan for a number of client accounts with the objective of ensuring referencability and retention, as well as strengthening the existing business relationships and leading business development opportunities.
Each RM has responsibility for achieving individual incremental growth targets and to cross-sell the broad array of products and services which JPMorgan has to offer into that client base. The team is mainly focused on: protecting the firm, raise commercial awareness, new/incremental business development as well as product delivery.
As a result of the extension of the regulatory framework to include investment trusts, WSS has established an investment trust practice, responsible for overseeing and managing the WSS investment trust strategy. This particular role involves joining the EMEA Global AMIC segment as a relationship manager with dual responsibility for leading the investment trust practice.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Research, understand and remain current on markets and competitive information and trends, utilizing market management resources as available
As the investment trust practice lead, you will be responsible for coordinating the investment trust strategy across the J.P. Morgan franchise assisting to defend and grow revenue through new business development and relationship management.
Research clients to understand their positions in their markets and identify key drivers
Identify and provide feedback on potential product gaps to be addressed by JPM to meet client needs and start product development accordingly
Forecast sales results with accuracy by entry into CKC and managing pipeline throughout deal cycle with accurate and timely updates
Identify and map key contacts, decision makers and stakeholders to create calling and action plans that leverage senior management/other LOB relationships as appropriate
Build rapport and develop collaborative relationships with internal partners Plan and manage campaigns to develop a network at the client level, meeting stakeholders at multiple organizational levels across divisions/business lines
Demonstrate thought leadership by serving as a consultant for clients and sharing market intelligence with a particular focus on the investment trust sector

Qualifications

You will have experience in Client Services/Relationship Management within the Securities Services
You will have experience of the investment trust sector with an in-depth knowledge of the industry and how it relates to the securities services business.You will be able to discuss, in detail, your knowledge of securities services and related Bank products including how to price them against key competitor's offeringYou will be able to discuss your experiences actively generating innovative solutions to meet clients needsYou will be able to demonstrate a good network within the relevant industry, plus channels and referrersYou will be able to discuss your broad and deep knowledge of financial markets technologies and operations
You can demonstrate how you have used your communication skills and commercial acumen to influence the COO / Operations Director of the client
