WSS Technology – CFP Integration Architect – VP – Based in London recruitment
This is an exciting opportunity, as you will have a key role in driving the future architecture of the CFP Platform which is central to WSS. It will also give you exposure to many of the Product groups within WSS (Custody, Clearance, Securities Lending, Global Funds Services) as well as the ability to work with our partners in the Investment Bank.
In order to realize the business objectives and associated benefits, CFP must develop a new converged technical platform to enable the disparate regional and functionally aligned Operating Models to migrate to a single, unified Global Operating model.
Responsibilities:Work closely with the business architect to map business events to integration requirements.Work closely with the information architect to define message types, semantic content and the attributes of the semantic content.A strong knowledge of integration patterns and rule-based techniques for achieving validation, enrichment and mapping of messages on the enterprise networkExperience in creating formal interface definitions / contractsDetermine message adapter requirements for inter-application messaging, e.g. transformation, protocol conversion
Experience working with JAXB, java, XSD, XSLT etcDetermine strategic utility usage for message processing and define specifications for new messaging utility functionality as required.
Determine and recommend tactical vs strategic integration optionsDevelop and maintain an interface catalogueWrite detailed Integration Architecture policies for each CFP architecture principle.About CFPThe Custody Foundation Project (CFP) is a strategic re-engineering initiative for Worldwide Securities Services (WSS). The objective is to create a componentized application infrastructure and adopt a utility strategy for Positions Management and Settlements, Asset Servicing and Cash services that will enhance the client's experience, increase automation and remove cost from the operating environment and will be available for use by businesses across the bank. For WSS, the platform will support International Custody, International Clearance and Collateral Management, and Domestic and local Sub- Custody.
