Business Overview:The goal of the Client Facing Programme is to provide a new and enhanced functionality to support the Clearance and Collateral Management businesses, covering multiple technology platforms and applications.
Team DescriptionThe Client Facing team is global, covering multiple technical Disciplines: RPG, Java, Cognos, SQL, as well as including QA and business analysts expertise.
We currently support 4 major applications which our clients access via the internet, which provide functionality covering Trade initiation, Reporting, and real-time dashboards amongst others.
Key Responsibilities:To lead the Client Facing java developers in various programme initiativesOwnership and management of all Java based deliverablesAccountable to Client Facing Project manager/Delivery managerMentor of junior developersOwnership of end2end delivery of Java application functionalityEnsuring all development adheres to JPMC policies and processes
Qualifications
Your Background:Demonstrable background in
Java/SQLCognos experience preferableExperience of leading teams and specifically offshore teamsProven track record in Java deliveries/projectsInvestment Banking ExperienceDemonstrable
Oracle database experienceDesirables:Experience of Clearance and Collateral Management Businesses preferableExcellent Communication (oral and written) and high-level of organisational skillsDrive, commitment and passion for the delivery of a quality productHigh level of attention to detailExcellent problem solving/analytical skillsCan communicate technical issues/terms to non technical colleaguesFocused on Delivery and achieving successLocation:London based Treasury Securities Services roles will be moving to Canary Wharf over the course of 2012.
