IOS has been created in response to asset management industry demand for middle and back office services.
IOS has two key objectives / roles:To provide marketing, consulting, selling and deal construction for transactions involving investment operations as a focal point for the client into JPM WSS and the broader form.To establish the product components in order to service investment managers for their global requirements for investment operations.Department DescriptionIOS Aviva Technology Development and Testing team is responsible for all internal and client initiated change for the Aviva Investors client. Technology department covers full life cycle of changes from original client request, through development, testing and promotion to production environment.

Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Provide an efficient, accurate and accommodating development function to the Business and External Clients.Deliver design specs which provide a clear understanding of the requirements and goals.Ensure all business requirements are met.Communicate progress clearly to all relevant parties.Communicate issues and advice effectively and efficiently to the Business and External ClientsEnsure development is delivered in line with Business requirements and within agreed timeframes.Produce a post-implementation review of all major changes to ensure we have the best practice in place.Devise and produce more efficient and reliable development procedures and practices.Tidy up and confirm correctness of existing procedures.Develop new methodologies and latest best practices.Increase knowledge within the Team.Improve personal knowledge of all supported applications and Business process flow.Pass on and share knowledge with other members within the team.Improve bridge between business and Technology - understanding business needs and developing suitable technology solutions.Develop an expert knowledge of the Operational technology platform and the effect of any requested business and technology driven changes.Liaise with business and project managers and low-level users to understand business requirements across affected business areas, and interpret requirements into robust development solutions, covering all possible business scenarios.Understand and prioritise business requirements across affected business areas to ensure reflective technology change process.Work with project and business owners, as well as any 3rd party application vendors to deliver workstreams that provide optimal solutions.Display a sound understanding of audit and risk concepts and apply these to all existing and developing technology processes.
