XRF Sales Manager
Role Title: XRF Area Sales Manager in EMEA region
This is an exciting opportunity to manage the sales, through distributors, of leading edge technology products in a rapidly expanding market. This role would suit an individual with, ideally, some experience of working with / supporting XRF or similar materials analysis technology and a talent for managing and developing commercial relationships. The role will have responsibility for achieving the budget for indirect sales, product mix, gross margin and profitability, working with distributors across UK, Europe and Africa.
Oxford Instruments Industrial Analysis provides materials identification and/or thickness gauging analysis instrumentation to industrial customers with diverse needs. Based on X-ray fluorescence (XRF), our products are used by most of the world’s major international companies and leading research institutes for industrial analysis and quality control. The Role
· Work with product and marketing managers to formulate distributor / agent marketing plan.
· Support distributors and agents on major bids, ensuring they are won at best price and terms.
· “Reach through” the distributors / agents to ensure end-user customer satisfaction
· Uphold Oxford Instruments brand integrity within distributors / agents
· Maintain professional awareness of relevant external technical and business developments and of competitor activity.
Your Credentials
You will have a clear understanding of operating in a technical environment and be able to explain the technical features, advantages and benefits of the Oxford Instrument products. You will be a great communicator with experience of successfully managing and motivating distributors in an international, high technology environment, or you will have experience from within a Distributor to the industry sector
It is expected that you will have a relevant degree ideally in natural sciences, supported by relevant marketing or management experience. You will have experience of living and working in EMEA region, particularly UK, Central and Western Europe and must be fluent in both written and spoken English. You must be willing to travel approximately 50% of your time across the region.
