2 x C# or Java Technical Deployment Consultants – ETRM Consultancy recruitment
My client implements their bespoke Commodity Trading Risk Management software on-site at top tier investment banks, commodity trading houses and oil gas majors based in London and other leading European cities. They have a team of commodity trading implementation consultants who implement their trading software on client-site, who come from commodity trading and middle office backgrounds (i.e. traders, risk analysts) who have an appreciation for IT but are by no means experts. As such, my client is hiring for 2 experienced Technical Software Consultants to assist the implementation consultants and clients on everything IT.
Responsibilities will thus include:
- Preparation for and installation of ETRM software
- Providing technical architecture guidance to new and existing clients
- Providing pre and post implementation technical support to clients
- Assisting clients in technical upgrade projects of both hardware and software
- Some C# or Java coding ideally
Key Skills Experience will include:
- Knowledge of virtualisation, networks, storage, databases and SOA using technologies such as: Citrix, Oracle, MS-SQL, Windows, VMware, Tibco and ideally C# or Java programming
- Experience of deploying and supporting complex system infrastructures
- Degree educated
- Ideally some client facing / consulting experience
- Ideally experience of acting as a DBA for either Oracle or MS-SQL databases
