Senior Project Manager and Business Analyst recruitment
Responsibilities:
- Working closely with Market Risk Managers and Market Risk Control staff to oversee the successful roll-out of the Market Risk Strategic Infrastructure through to completion.
- Owning the regional Project Plan and monitoring project deliverables.
- Indirectly managing a team of Business Analysts to deliver the solution according to requirements.
- Managing key Non-Functional Requirements across the landscape, ensuring that these are implemented as documented.
- Working with the Test Manager to derive a suitable test strategy for each phase of the project.
Requirements:
- Relevant product knowledge including knowledge of trading business products, market risk methodology and regulatory framework
- Experience working in relevant environment/s, i.e. Finance services industry
- Role relevant qualifications, i.e. Prince II or Six Sigma qualified, University graduate in Finance, computer science or numerated related disciplines.
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. project management role involved in a large scale system implementation programme within Market Risk.
- Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. Market Risk terminology and concepts – VaR approaches, Market Risk Internal Controls framework, Basel II III
- Experience of using relevant software packages, i.e. Excel Access (VBA level), PowerPoint, Visio
- Experience working in relevant market/context, i.e. financial organisation; Risk Management, Product Control, Group Audit, Regulators is desirable but not essential
- Past working experience in a relevant role, i.e. documenting requirements, validating functional specifications, drafting testing approach plans and user acceptance test cases is desirable but not essential
- Past working experience on relevant systems, i.e. VaR regression analysis and explain differences between production VaR and target system generated VaR, through breakdown of variables – Risk Factor/Scenario impacts, Curve shock impacts, trade data and sensitivities impact, etc. is desirable but not essential
- A desire to find ways to continually improve the service delivered to customers
- A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
