2 x Credit Risk Analysts for Asset-Backed Commodity Trading House – £45,000
My client is a leading Asset-Backed Commodity Trading Arm of a world-renowned Energy Major and is looking to add 2 Credit risk analysts to their aggressively expanding office based in London.
The Credit Team’s main responsibilities are to protect the firm-wide assets through rigorous Credit Risk analysis. The successful candidate will be a key advisor on security documents received from counterparties. In addition to this the candidate will be responsible for supporting the margining activity
The main duties will be to:
- Advise on acceptability of letters of credit received from counterparties
- Daily communication with banks and counterparties as well as internal stakeholders
- Manage and respond to queries related to parent company guarantees
- Provide support to the margining function
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in a trading environment negotiating letters of credit and similar contracts
- Familiarity with contractual language when negotiating such security, across continents for a global company
- Ability to clearly distinguish the differences between a standard security for trading and documentary letters of credit
- Knowledge of UCP 600 and its application to trading documents
- Knowledge of ISDA and CSA documentation
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills
- Good IT knowledge, especially the MS Office Suite.
