3D surface decoration foiling operative Job in Mansfield NG18 1HR, Midlands UK
A 3D surface decoration foiling operative required to join a company in Kirkby in Ashfield.
The job role will include injection moulded components largely for the replacement window industry. These are produced on site and shipped to the surface decoration moulding department to have a wood grain effect placed upon the unit. The process starts by adhesive being sprayed on to the component with a conventional air gun. The components are then made ready to be placed upon a jig within the vacuum forming machine. The machine is then set to the appropriate temperature to form the wood grain coating around the component. The actuator is then activated to form the coating closely to the component. The coating is then cut to release the units which are then trimmed, quality checked and placed in the appropriate packaging.
The ideal candidate will come from a wood grain or engineering background and will have experience in operating and programming forming machines. The machine being used for this role is a Formech 508DT. The candidate will be required to carry out all duties including spraying adhesive, trimming and quality checking. A good all round candidate with an excellent work ethic is required for this role.
