ABB – Global Product Manager

We are offering a position as a Global Product Manager at ABB Oy, Transformers unit in Vaasa. In this position, you will manage the global product lines of small power special transformers throughout their entire lifecycle. You will support sales and marketing to meet the revenue targets and to satisfy the customer needs. You will work closely with other ABB units and third parties. Ensuring smooth technology transfer between factories will also be an important part of your work.
We require a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in electrical engineering, preferably in power systems, automation or similar field. You have work experience in transformers or related applications. You are systematic and result-driven and able to manage your own work. As an extrovert personality, you work well with people from different cultures. This job requires the ability to both understand entities and focus on details. Working in a hectic environment you are able to handle parallel tasks and prioritize. In this job, you will need fluent skills in spoken and written English. Other language skills are an advantage. You are familiar with the most common PC applications and preferably Pro/ENGINEER or AutoCAD. You are apt to learn new engineering tools.
