ACA, CFO Office, Major Investment Bank
Our client is one of the world’s largest investment banks with a well-established brand name and great career progression opportunities. An opportunity has arisen for an ambitious qualified accountant to join the CFO office.
Within this role your core responsibilities will challenge your technical knowledge. You will be required to produce and/or review official daily PL and its provision for VAR back-testing, whilst also being responsible for daily management adjustments to PL. Your core financial oversight functions will include key responsibilities such as price verification on a daily, weekly and monthly scale. You will also have to utilise your analytical skills in order to provide balance sheet analysis whilst factoring in inventory ageing and its reporting. You will also provide your financial expertise within the design, build and, testing and implementation of new platforms and systems. Planning and Reporting will be also be a key responsibility as you participate in the formulation of business strategy; plans; budgets; and forecast.
Whilst having used your technical knowledge throughout the role, you will also be required to build and maintain customer/client relationships ensuring the customer/clients expectations are met and exceeded.
Key Requirements:
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Ability to build and use Excel spreadsheets.
- Solid understanding of business strategy and how the role relates to this.
- Good, clear communication skills.
