ACA/ACCA Manager – Real Estate

Major RE Administration firm which has seen extensive growth over the last few years are looking to make a key appointment into their division.

This person will be responsible for running a large part of this UK real estate business and is likely to assist the head of department with group wide responsibilities around how work is delivered and the continued upscaling of the related infrastructure.

The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the continuation of this growth and profitability of a significant part of this business but to also develop and mentor a well established team.

Achieving this growth and stability involves a heavy degree of client interaction and the promotion of client interaction within the business. The clients comprise a number of well-respected independent real estate fund managers with a variety of strategies, geographies and styles. The candidate will be expected to interface at a senior level with our clients in order to problem solve and oversee the delivery of our services. They will also build and motivate a professional team working to the highest standards.

The individual will grow the business by the development and monitoring of existing client work and will also oversee the introduction of new clients to administration teams, being involved with pitches and participating in marketing events. The individual will be ultimately responsible for all aspects of team delivery planning, and resolving technical real estate accounting issues. The team currently has 10 people and is likely to grow significantly.

Key responsibilities include:

· Client facing position with overall responsibility for the delivery of our services to current and new clients
· One of the outward faces of the real estate business, also involved with origination of new clients, and supporting the development of our professional network.
· Ensuring client satisfaction through systematic process and high quality of delivery of work.
· Sufficient real estate technical expertise and problem solving skills to help our real estate clients as well as ensuring staff have adequate support and achieve acceptable levels of technical know how.
· Review and quality control for a portfolio of client work.
· Motivating and introducing a culture of excellence to the team.
· Ensuring that client issues such as statutory and regulatory requirements are satisfactorily resolved by the teams in the relevant business area.
· Responsibility for actively managing communication at operational level between our separate jurisdictions.
· Acting as a director or officer of managed entities as appropriate.
