Account Director, Corporate Sales, China recruitment
The Asia Pacific Sales teams are primarily responsible for generating and delivering upon our sales activities, and we have an important role to play in supporting and contributing towards the Initiatives and the activities that support the extension of SWIFT's core business.
This is a business development role to actively identify prospects and successfully sell SWIFT corporate services into the mainland China market. You will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with corporate prospects that have significant business potential to meet our challenging revenue objectives. Your sales targets will be based on adding new corporate members to SWIFT and growing sales of products and services to this target audience, especially through the identification of infrastructure, consulting and training needs as well as well as new product initiative opportunities in line with the APAC 2015 Strategy.

Your responsibilities will be to
Identify corporate prospects in the target market and achieve business growth through corporate market expansion. Achieve targeted sales objectives in an optimal, cost-beneficial way
Meet aggressive sales targets for rapid Non-Network Based business growth
Ensure quality, efficient implementation, working with regional corporate and technical specialists to provide the most rapid move towards live traffic and Network Based business growth
Contribute customer and market intelligence to the relevant regional market and product managers and identify potential partners, events and third-party influencers for raising market awareness
Represent SWIFT at selected industry and SWIFT-organised events
Work closely with prospects to understand their infrastructure in order to recommend the optimal solution, whether direct or indirect.
Job Requirements
- At least seven years' experience in sales, with minimum three years in the financial industry in mainland China
- Proven track record of achieving against targets
- Knowledge of corporate treasury management and technology and banking and payments markets, with strong understanding of Chinese market practice and needs
- Proven track record of selling into Chinese government corporates
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues from other teams, geographies and cultures
- Ability to deliver clear, concise and convincing written and verbal communications and powerful presentations and speeches
- Fluent spoken and written English; fluent spoken Putonghua and written simplified Chinese
