They have 70 plus offices in over 40 countries in Western and Eastern Europe, the US, Eurasia, the Middle East and Asia Pacific with a large network of partners in other areas of the world. In the UK they employ over 200 people.
It is a multi award winning consultancy specialising in integrated communications.. Their four main practices are public relations, public affairs, investor relations and events.
The Role:
Account Director/ Senior Consultant of the Financial Professional Services team within Corporate and Financial Practice. Our client is seeking and an experienced Account Direct to work on a number of high profile financial and professional services clients. We are looking for a candidate with strong city experience, who has an understanding of complex business and financial services issues, in addition to exemplary media relations skills.
Clients in the Financial Professional Services team fall into the following specialist areas - consumer and corporate banking, personal finance and investment, venture capital, insurance and pensions, legal, executive search, FX and stock exchanges.
The Candidate will have:
- 7 years working within financial services PR most recently at an agency or in-house role with an excellent grounding in financial services and professional services.
- Have directed and led high profile, integrated campaigns, such as round table events and research, resulting in outstanding outputs and outcomes for your client.
- Ideally experience of working abroad or directing accounts with an international focus.
- Experience of leading and managing a team to success.
- Client experience should span some or all of the following: venture / SME, insurance, banking, asset management and professional services.
-Experience of new business generation from writing proposals, researching, preparing and presenting.
