Account Executive

On behalf of a highly regarded and fast-growing US-based company we are searching for an experienced sales executive to sell hosting and IT solutions to enterprise clients in the Midwest.  With a national footprint of state-of-the-art data centers and a strong reputation for customer service excellence our client's sales are growing quickly in a range of hosting and managed IT service areas. Existing accounts include a substantial number of large organizations across various industries; management is experienced and highly supportive in terms of aggressive and nimble decision-making to help close business.

In addition to senior level sales credentials and a track record of job stability and consistent performance against quota, candidates must be credible and knowledgeable about the current market for IT solutions.  Candidates with a background selling telecommunications, colocation, managed hosting and related infrastructure components may be well suited for the role.

A college degree is strongly preferred, along with a proven record of new account development and the professionalism and enthusiasm to represent a growing company in a high-profile role.  Substantial experience selling to the executive ranks of large organizations and working with various sales support resources to develop solutions and close deals will be key factors for success.

The compensation package will include a negotiable base salary and commission incentives with unlimited earning potential for above quota performance.  First year earnings for on-target performance will be in the range of $200-225K.
