Account Executive

Baker Hughes Reservoir
Development Services (“RDS”) has an immediate opening for an Account Executive
based in Houston, Texas. 

 

RDS
serves the oil gas industry in developing reservoir-driven solutions
covering the full asset life cycle, from the earliest phases of project
development through abandonment.  Our
global teams in Aberdeen, London, Delft, Dubai, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Perth,
Calgary, Buenos Aires, and Houston work diligently to find and maximize
reserves; increase production rates and recovery factors; select, define,
execute field development plans and analyze acquisition and divestiture
options.

Baker Hughes Reservoir Software is a newly formed commercial software group
developing innovative, tightly integrated software solutions in the fields of
GG subsurface modeling, geomechanics, and hydraulic fracturing simulation
and analysis. Our flagship product is the subsurface modeling tool JewelSuite
(www.jewelsuite.com) that integrates workflows all the way from seismic to
simulation in an easy to use .Net based application. Our products are based on
the quickly expanding JewelEarth platform that is available to our customers
for proprietary developments.

The Reservoir Software group is quickly expanding its global operations and
is now seeking talented and motivated professionals to join our dynamic
organization.

 
 

Responsibilities

 

As
an Account Executive, you will sell the Baker Hughes Reservoir Software suite
and services to existing and new customers within the upstream oil and gas
industry.  You will implement and develop sales strategies to increase
sales and profits through assigned and new accounts and complex product lines.  You will manage the sales function and
coordinate other company assets, both during and after the sales process. 
You build strong customer relationships.  You will develop product and/or service
alliances for major customers.  You will
be knowledgeable of the BHI product lines spanning multiple divisions and
competitive markets; you will be instrumental in developing cross-divisional
sales opportunities.  You will handle special
projects, as assigned.  This position is based in Houston, with significant
travel to active regions around the country; you may be required to travel on
short notice for short periods of time. 

 

Education
Experience requirements

Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent 5 years of experience in a field related to
this role

.:.
7+ years of experience selling multi-million dollar solutions comprised of
technical services, software and support into the upstream US oil gas
market.

Possess knowledge of and solutions to unconventional oil and gas challenges
faced by the US industry. 

.:.
Possess and demonstrate a substantial roster of upper level upstream EP
contacts

.:.
Thorough knowledge of upstream disciplines including geologic, geophysical,
reservoir challenges associated with unconventional plays

.:.
Experience structuring and negotiating enterprise software/services licensing
agreements

Possess a proven, distinguished and sustained sales achievement record

Demonstrated ability to sell to C-level and business unit leaders

Demonstrated ability to deliver required revenues within cost constraints on
quarterly and annual basis
