Draftfcb is a full service advertising agency in downtown Seattle - specializing in digital, and is part of the global Draftfcb network. We are a relatively, small, growing shop that believe in empowering people at all levels to breed pride of ownership. We get excited when we solve a problem. We like each other. We are looking for an outstanding Account Executive with 3-5 years of experience to join us. This person will work closely with the Account Supervisor and account team, as well as senior clients, to assist in the daily operations of a Fortune 500 Company’s loyalty program.
The best Account Executives we’ve known have had this exceptional thirst for doing, for making, for running the show. And we’d like you to be one more of those, please. By running the show we mean we’d like you to be a production guru, a pro at internal and external communications, and on a strong and steady climb to the top. Being the golden child of production will definitely earn you your stripes on the internal field, but the external client relationship is also just as vital to your growth and success, and, yes, more stripes if that’s what makes you happy. Being an effective AE means you’ve spent the first few years of your career learning the ins-and-outs of client management, and now feel confident enough not only to create a positive rapport with our business partners, but you are also ready to teach the ropes to others. You are hungry for growth opportunities and think proactively about how to improve the process at every step. Beyond the functional aspect of making outstanding marketing communications, a great AE is also interested in the reasoning behind briefs and wants to engage further with understanding strategy.
Also fundamental to your job and future growth potential is continuing to master your collaboration skills. Positive collaboration with every department and individual you touch is something that should be at the forefront of your mind at all times.
Skills expected:
· Highly fluent and detailed in the nuts and bolts of print and digital production; comfortable leading assignments from start to finish. Experience in email and web marketing a plus.
· Ownership of production budgets and schedules, legal processing, and other technical details.
· Skilled at building client trust through clear communication, a positive attitude, and proactively understanding their needs.
· Effective and efficient communicator with internal team including your fellow account members, as well as the creative, project management and production teams. Able to lead and bring clarity to creative briefings, capable and confident delivering unfavorable feedback and pushing teams for superior work . Keeps supervisor in the loop.
· Master of follow-up on all projects, no matter the size or complexity, to ensure all team members and clients continue to move forward in a timely and organized way.
· High level of comfort with data-driven campaigns, including reviewing campaign reporting, pulling and writing insights and making recommendations for optimization
· Adept at training and nurturing the growth and experience of AAE and AC team members. Strong work ethic.
· Passionate about the industry and continually working to stay on top of trends; able to form thoughtful and articulate POV for team and client distribution; taking steps to have ownership of client’s business landscape.
· 3-5 years of agency or equivalent marketing experience
