JOB DESCRIPTION:
Develops new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales of products and/or services.  Responsibilities include revenue accountability for a specified account base.  Travel is required to cover assigned accounts in Western Alaska. Familiar with a variety of marine transportation and petroleum concepts, practices, and procedures.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected in building customer relationships.  Partner and develop relationships, collaborate and solve problems.  Delivers value-added services to current and prospective customers.

Involved with competitive bidding and contract negotiations. In addition to developing new contacts, Account Executive will act as a direct point of contact with existing customer base, manage relationships and ensure customer satisfaction. In addition to the sales component an Account Executive acts as a liaison with the public and represents Crowley at Trade Shows and Promotional events outside the office.

Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature and the like.  Ability to drive and travel extensively by plane or car and work long hours when needed, including weekends. Ability to climb stairs and must wear hard hat when working in operational areas. Must comply with all work rules, including those that pertain to safety and health.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE EDUCATION:

Bachelors degree preferred.

3 - 5 years related experience.  PC Proficient - Word, Access, Excel.  Must possess skill sets and demonstrate proven experience developing, improving and streamlining processes to meet established goals and objectives.  Requires the ability to effectively manage projects that may vary in nature and scope.

All Crowley positions require proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word.  Some positions may also include proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications.
