Job Summary:
An Account Executive is responsible for the development and maintenance of customer business relationships. An Account Executive is to have success in selling, negotiating, communicating and problem-solving within a fast-paced business environment
Job Responsibilities:
- Build long-term customer relationships.
- Encourage Recurring Gross Margin initiatives.
- Penetration and expansion of existing accounts.
- Pursue new accounts and vertical markets.
- Commit to be on time for all team meetings, appointments, and work.
- Display an optimistic attitude in front of customers and co-workers.
- Exhibit a high degree of business maturity, ethic, and professionalism.
- Complete weekly and monthly reporting accurately and on schedule.
- Check and respond to voice mail promptly.
- Be 100% accountable and responsible for resolving customer complaints or escalating customer complaints to their manager for prompt resolution.
- Commit to delivering your personal target of key activities monthly and TTM.
- Work daily towards team and company goals.
- Look for opportunities to recommend positive change.
- Present resolutions to issues and problems.
- Check and respond to e-mail each day on a timely basis.
- Perform required number of customer meetings/presentations per month.
- Perform required number of interviews per month.
- Record all consultant meetings each month.
- Follow the S.i. Sales Process Framework.
- Update an AE business plan in accordance with the guidelines.
- Utilize and learn from Recruiter, Managers, and others in the organization.
- Plan your goals each day for the day ahead.
- Promote S.i. Systems services.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years sales related experience
- Proficient experience using the MS Office Suite
- Bachelors degree in business, marketing, IT, or related area is an asset
Personal Attributes:
- Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding quota consistently
- Effective phone interaction and cold-calling skills
- Understands solution selling and creating value for business customers
- Positive and proactive salesperson with a proven ability to prospect and cultivate strong relationships with key decision makers and influencers.
- Ability to communicate and present confidently to any level of an organization.
- Proven track record working on large projects/accounts with a team of people working together to win a new customer
- Results-oriented with strong prospecting skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong negotiation, planning, and organization skills
- A high level of motivation and a strong desire to succeed
- An avid supporter of teamwork
