Account Executive/Sales Commercial Insurance

Responsible for the combined Commercial line functions of account management, to develop and sustain relationships with existing clients, as well as generating new business revenues. Retains existing accounts and develops opportunities for revenue enhancement with those clients; seeks referral opportunities from existing clients. Produces new business from new and existing clients. Ensures account profitability by managing the time and resources required to provide clients with high quality services per the client service plan. Develops and maintains consultative, partnership relationships with clients; understand their business sufficiently to provide advice, recommendations and services that are focused on their specific needs as appropriate to their strategic business plans; addresses clients needs for professional communication and ensure clients receive timely and accurate service. Develops comprehensive client service plans that reflect clients business and risk management goals, and includes an outline of the services to be provided and action plans that include critical milestones, due dates and accountabilities. Communicates with clients and service team members to obtain the highest degree of client satisfaction. Basic Qualifications: 5+ years of insurance experience. Minimum Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to manage moderately complex commercial property and casualty accounts; effectively market to carriers and customers; develop and maintain strong working relationships with customers and prospects; excellent verbal and written communications skills. Insurance license for designated insurance line required within 6 months of hire, considering state law restrictions.
