Account Manager
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate relationships between customers and meeting planning suppliers
- Demonstrate proficiency in departmental technology tools and reporting data
- Periodic report presentations on clients meeting activity/spend/savings
- Participates in various work streams or initiatives to enhance meeting and congress/convention activities (examples: global preferred meeting venue program)
- Drive MMS exposure within Company by marketing and educating efforts
- Establish and monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for customers
Main Activities
- Strategic business partner for internal clients
- Execute SBS Meeting Services meetings and congress/convention strategy
- Forecasting, managing and tracking of all meetings data
- Gains understanding of customers' business requirements
- Challenge requirements as necessary
- Collaboration with Global Procurement in support of Company’s supply strategy
- Continually interacts with SBS Meeting Services team and third party suppliers
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- 5+ Years in Meetings Management/ Travel experience
- People Management Leading Teams
Preferred:
- Multi-Lingual
- Experience with Sales Processes
- Certified Meeting Planning or Certified Meeting Management Certification
- Meeting management and/or Travel industry experience
- Proficient computer skills PowerPoint, Excel, Word
