Job Description
This position will be responsible for customer relationship management, revenue management, forecasting, and expansion of company services for new and existing Client Accounts. This position will be based in the North East region.
Responsibilities:
Customer Relationship Management
· Act as primary Client Liaison/Representative in the areas of education, communication, budget management, and overall customer satisfaction throughout the customer relationship. This role must be fully knowledgeable of all contracts for licensing, services, budget and product usage.
· Issue/manage all account requests
· Ensure communication to/from internal team for Client requirements, testing, training/support and all contracted services. This includes education on delivery process and schedules to ensure client’s expectations are managed effectively.
· Review/analyze all Client support requests and ensure Client is fully educated on support process
· Ensure quality services are delivered through adherence to internal quality processes, documentation and communication
· Identify/scope extended Client services needs
Revenue Management
· Develop account plans/strategy to meet agreed quarterly revenue targets
· Accountable to commit to quarterly revenue targets and ensure they are met
· Ensure services are delivered according to agreed contract/budget and provide monthly, quarterly budget forecasting
Account Growth/Expansion
· Maintain Client knowledge on Company products/services and ensure users fully understand and maximize the use of our technology
· Ensure Client visibility/knowledge to continuously work to grow/expand each account
· Deliver strategic consulting services to Client as needed
Sales Marketing Support
· Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support new sales as needed
· Provide lead development support as needed
· Participate in Industry conferences, speaking engagements and provide SME input for needed white papers/PRs
Computer Skills: Knowledge of EDC, CTMS and other clinical trial technology systems. Strong knowledge and proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS Project, and Salesforce/CRM tool.
Travel requirements: approximately 50% average per year
Education/Experience:
This position requires a BS/BA and 4-8 years of relevant account management experience working for a technology consulting/solution provider. This position also requires:
· Proven Account Management experience, including the successful management and growth of multiple client accounts. Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed established revenue quotas.
· Expert knowledge of the clinical trials process and current technology systems supporting clinical trials
· Sufficient knowledge of best practices surrounding customer requirements definition, user acceptance and support
· Ability to communicate clearly and effectively (both written and oral communication)
· Well-developed problem solving and decision making skills
· Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment
· Highly organized and motivated self-started with excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, communication and organizational skills
