The Account Manager is responsible for inbound and/or outbound sales calls directly from/to prospective and/or existing customers.
Effectively builds rapport with customers by probing for needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
Achieves monthly, quarterly, and annual sales objectives, whilst ensuring the optimum customer experience and satisfaction by following established processes and procedures.

· Following up on sales enquiries within agreed time frames to open sales opportunities
· Schedules activity around review calls, renewal calls and customer queries
· Maintains contact with existing customers to ensure a strong level of customer care routine is established and maintained
· Initiates and answers sales calls for IHS’ products and services
· Accepts orders, closes sales, maintains customers records and completes required documentation
· Conducts telephone conversations to identify and qualify prospective customers and records sales prospecting activity in computer based tracking system
· Desk based telephone sales
· Some occasional site visits
· Carries out account review calls at regular intervals
· Ensures customer delight
· Maximises revenue and customer satisfaction within assigned territories
Specific Job Duties:
· Meet new business sales goals
· Manages customers throughout the year to renewal of accounts/subscriptions
· Develops existing customer accounts by promoting a range of IHS products and services whenever possible
· Responds to customer calls regarding products and services and identifies up selling opportunities for such calls

Required Education:
Graduate/Junior sales position
Required Experience:
· 0 – 2 years experience
· Fluent in English and Mandarin
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Good organisational skills.
· Project management
· Must be able to handle multiple projects at one time and get work completed in a timely manner.
· Engineering background a clear advantage.
