Job Description:

Account Manager - Inside Sales for an IT VAR and Solutions Systems Integrator

Location: Manhattan, NY - must live with in one hour of location, no relocation!
Salary: $50k base + Commission on Team Sales + Bonus for exceeding goals + Company paid benefits

The Inside Sales Account Manager is responsible for providing sales and marketing support to Solutions and Services Team Lead and to develop / maintain strategic accounts, and increase overall customer satisfaction.

What you will be doing:

•Assists TEAM LEAD to increase sales and improve customer service
•Assists TEAM LEAD to develop strong relations with its primary OEM Partners
•Proven track record of cold calling to generate new sales opportunities
•Works with Purchasing Manager on pricing products and with Engineering Manager on pricing services
•Prepare, review and submit sales quotes and response to RFP/RFI
•Works with Marketing Manager to conduct marketing campaigns and coordinate events
•Make customer appointments and travel arrangements for customer visits for TEAM LEAD
•Provides assistance and support of Accounts as requested by TEAM LEAD

What you need for this position:

•2+ years account management (and Sales) experience with IT VARs and Systems Integrators is a plus
•Strong presentation, negotiating and influencing skills.
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
•A proven track record in maintaining significant customer relationships, across all levels of management.
•Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills are critical.
•Polished presentation and interpersonal skills.
•Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Excellent computer skills, i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
•4 year college degree is required
