Account Manager Job in Brixworth, Midlands UK
Our client is a very successful company and the UK's only company who manufactures and distributes reusable nappies worldwide.
They are seeking an experienced account manager to join their team to manage and grow the international sales of their products both through distributors in existing markets and the development of new markets. This role a member of the Company's senior management team and is all about building relationships and having excellent management and communication skills.
International Account Manager - Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- To contribute to driving the Company forward and having an input into Company strategy
- To encourage distributors with their sales and marketing efforts
- To inform distributors about new products and promotional materials that could be useful for their market
- To track sales in line with targets set
- To work with sales administration to carry out sales and stock projections
- To organise and attend events and trade fairs both in the UK and in Europe and support distributors during local consumer and trade shows
- To support distributors with marketing plans to maximise potential of marketing activities
- To identify activities and products that could help distributors increase international sales
- To manage distributor websites to ensure consistency, accuracy and marketing potential
- To co-ordinate translations and production of print and packaging in foreign languages
- To research market potential, market position and price point
- To undertake international market visits
- To target potential distributors
International Account Manager - Person Specification
- A graduate or graduate calibre or equivalent in sales and / or marketing
- Be fluent in German or Spanish
- Be customer focused and be able to demonstrate an understanding of, and ability in, building key stakeholder relationships
- A minimum of 2 years relevant professional commercial experience
- An appreciation of, and ideally experienced in international business
- A good command of the English language
- Computer proficient
- Effective communication, interpersonal and team working skills
- Good negotiation skills
- The energy, drive and passion to work in a dynamic, fast past environment
- To be able to apply integrity and adhere to high standards of business ethics
- The ability to plan, prioritise and manage workloads to deadlines
- To be able to travel and stay away from home as this role involves international travel and will include some weekends away
