Manager, Finance Shared Services Payroll Preparation and Process
The position is responsible for overseeing the preparation of data and processing of payroll for BAE Systems, Inc. The position will oversee a group of 16 individuals which comprise the Payroll Preparation and Processing teams. The Preparation team is responsible for processesing labor, travel, and enterprise files, and loading all information into PeopleSoft Payroll. The position will ensure gross to net payroll calculations for multiple legal entities are done in a timely and accurate manner. The role will oversee the entry of supplemental earnings and deductions into supplemental payroll data entry tools (Web Payroll Interface), ensuring all payroll data is complete and accurate. The role will also provide supvervision to the Payroll Processing team which handles the payroll disbursements process for BAE Systems, Inc's over 40,000 employees. The position will oversee and monitor activities to process employee payments electronically (ACH), via checks, and via pay cards. The role will oversee the management of disbursement processes including void and stop payments, direct deposit holds, etc. The position will oversee the resolution of any errors or issues arising from payroll disbursements, ensuring the FSS Payroll staff coordinates issue resolution with Sector Time Collection groups. The role will oversee the processing of year-end Payroll activities and ensure the teams are collecting and distributing reports to internal stakeholders.
