Account Manager (PPA), Salary: £35k Location: Leeds
Summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading energy company in Leeds as a Account Manager.
You will negotiate and implement electricity purchase (Export/PPA) contracts with external counterparts in accordance with internal processes and strategy to optimise Retail profit and loss.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Manage existing export portfolio by managing the relationship with existing customers and addressing queries
• Put forward Export deal proposals according to internal processes
• Co-ordinate contract development in particular in conjunction with the Legal department
• Monitoring and reporting on electricity Export activity and margin
• Ensure the Export Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) is current
• Development of a range of Export products
• Adherence to internal processes and risk frameworks
Experience and Skills Required
• Negotiation skills
• Understanding of UK Electricity wholesale and Retail markets
• Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving
• Able to work with internal and external parties to deliver effective solutions
• Knowledge of Retail pricing policies/ methodologies and systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in Sales and/or deal negotiation
• Experience in Energy industry
• Experience of contract development
• Demonstrated ability to succeed in a complex environment
