Account Manager recruitment
The ideal candidate will be able to sell MNI’s content to trading platforms, buy-side and selling-side investment organizations. The news content is mainly focused the following areas: fixed income, foreign exchange markets, with an emphasis on selling economic indicators and data. An aggressively friendly, straight to the point sales approach is required to successfully sell this content to the above target markets.
The desired person will have an excellent knowledge base of the financial services industry, and have existing relationships with a variety of financial publications. You will be responsible for identifying the proper touch points at these organizations, and to close a variety of deals. You must also have the confidence in speaking with senior managers about selling MNI’s content which is to be displayed on various platforms.
This person will need to feel comfortable in making cold calls and be creative in pitching new ideas to existing clients. Five years in the financial services industry is required.
