Job description

Working as an Account Manager is often demanding yet always rewarding. As an integrated part of our clients' HR Function, the onsite recruitment function is the epicentre of the HR community.  We pride ourselves on managing the end to end recruitment lifecycle for our clients, so they can focus on their core business activities.

The Account Manager role leads the team and is a key component of the overall Delivery Team. With the responsibility to collaborate and knowledge share across the whole Talent2 RPO client portfolio the Account Manager role is a highly visible member of the wider community. Building relationships with key stakeholders, maintaining a positive 'can-do' attitude and being persistent in delivering a world-class service are all attributes we are proud to have in our onsite community. 

The key focus for the Account Manager is to manage the Sponsor / Key stakeholder relationships, manage resource and workload allocation to ensure the successful fulfilment of all client vacancies, within a high volume recruitment environment. Being aware of latest trends and sharing knowledge with key stakeholders is critical in ensuring we add value to our clients at all times. 

You will be an inspirational role model for the team and drive best practice across the entire recruitment lifecycle, while striving to be an ambassador for the Talent2 brand at every interaction.   

Key Accountabilities

1.     Sponsor / Key Stakeholder Relationship Management

• Develop strong and constructive relationships with identified key sponsor/stakeholders through regular formal and informal meetings/contact

• Gain a sound understanding of the clients business (structure, nature of their work and business challenges faced) to ensure sourcing strategy is aligned with requirements and identify opportunities for solution growth

• Become key contact point for stakeholders for any recruitment, sourcing or strategy queries/issues that arise. Actively seek and act on feedback from key stakeholders to drive optimum solution for both parties

2.     Recruitment Strategy

• Understand Strategic direction of your client and ensure solution is aligned to client vision and solution performance reviewed at each quarterly meeting

• Monitor or manage delivery of recruitment assignments according to the agreed recruitment process, SLA’s  compliance and legislative requirements ensuring all required activities are completed and documented accordingly

• Directly provide advice and support on talent management issues utilising available resources as necessary (to team and/or Hiring managers)

• Ensure ongoing continuous improvement and value add initiatives to improve solution efficiency and effectiveness

• Monitor and report on all SLA’s and KPI’s, providing monthly report data to Service Delivery Corporate as requested

• Represent client brand in market to attract and retain talent and strive to achieve reputation of recruitment best practice/employer of choice.

3.     Onsite Team Management Leadership

• Ensure effective performance optimisation of all team members, within agreed guidelines, ensuring all KPI’s are set and appropriate development plans are devised and mentoring/coaching provided as required

• Demonstrate leadership qualities at all times, creating and maintaining a professional and positive team environment

• Ensure the team adhere to compliance requirements (Recruitment, T2 and client), ie data integrity, management of the process

• Manage and escalate (where necessary) any individual/team issues that may arise ensuring nil client impact

• Manage workload allocation within team, including volume forecasting, headcount planning, leave management, and utilising Hub services where appropriate

• Actively manage attendance of team at Talent2 events to share learning’s and build a network with Talent2 colleagues.

4.     Contractual Delivery

• Have a comprehensive understanding of the contractual services agreement and provisions including KPI’s and SLA’s to support commercial decision making

• Monitor service delivery against contractual terms and manage out of scope service requests including proposal management where appropriate by client appropriately

• Ensure accurate management and tracking of all related solution costs and manage to budget

5.     Talent2 Ambassador

• Represent Talent2 according to values and behaviours of the company and the client at all times

• Share knowledge of learning, innovation and best practice with Talent2 colleagues

• Identify opportunities for added value services for the client

• Escalate appropriate relationship, contract or process issues in line with Talent2 best practice to Account Director and /or General Manager as appropriate

• Know the Talent2 areas of specialisation/service offerings and actively develop relationships with peers within RPO and other Talent2 divisions.

Critical Success Factors

• A strong track record of managing a successful recruitment team, within a high volume recruitment environment

• Excellent stakeholder (internal external) engagement abilities; Able to influence and function as an effective business partner

• Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills

• Fluency in English and Cantonese is a prerequisite for this role

• Prior experience of recruitment within the banking industry a strong advantage
