Account Manager – Strategic Accounts Group recruitment
Job Description:
The Account Manager - Strategic Accounts Group, is responsible for proactively managing ongoing relationships for a territory of 30-40 of Interactive Data's Strategic Accounts in North America. The AM's role within the team will be to manage and grow current revenue and develop account retention strategies with the goal of strengthening and enhancing long-term client relationships. The AM will engage their customers in a consultative fashion in support of all Pricing and Reference Data products and services. In addition, the AM will be responsible for taking on a leadership role in the coordination of internal resources to ensure the successful execution of client initiatives. Performance will be measured as a function of tangible measurements such as territory revenue performance against goal and upgrade performance against quota as well as intagible measurements such as proactive client engagment and overall client satsfaction.
Qualifications:
Three years + of account relationship experience with a minimum of five years experience within the financial services industry required. Proactive individuals who are detail oriented, comfortable serving as a project coordinator, and who will be a strong customer advocate are highly desired for this position. Overall industry knowledge and professional demeanor combined with knowledge of Interactive Data’s products and services is a must. Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact with senior management internally and externally are critical. This position demands an individual who enjoys the challenge of working with large, complex and potentially demanding clients that expect high levels of service, professionalism and expertise from our Strategic Accounts team.
