Fleishman-Hillard Singapore has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Manager to join our thriving technology and telecommunications practice. The position provides a fantastic opportunity for a PR practitioner with B-to-B and B-to-C experience to grow and work closely with energetic senior management on global brands. Candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with collaborative teams to assist technology and telecommunications clients with their external public relations and communications activities, and have the opportunity to develop their corporate communication skills by supporting stakeholder and influencer programs and also engage the online community through social media campaigns.
The Senior Account Manager plays a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day logistics for the account team. Responsibilities include working with more senior members of the team to create budgets and forecasts, manage projects and clients, and pursuing new business by contributing to proposals and opportunities. Most important, this role will include responsibility for driving media campaigns in business and trade media. He or she will work as a key team member, providing team leadership and team member counsel and development.
Qualifications:
· A minimum of 5 years of technology communications experience, with an emphasis on media relations, media training, and product public relations.
· The ideal candidate will have a PR agency background, and experience with both B-to-B and B-to-C communications.
· Advanced knowledge of business media and well-developed skills in building and maintaining media relationships.
· Excellent writing abilities with extensive experience in all forms of corporate and executive communication, from business media news releases to executive talking points.
· Experience with new digital media and social networking tactics and program development.
· Demonstrated experience executing public relations plans and the ability to draft and implement strategic public relations programs within budget.
· Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
