Job Description
The overall function is to work closely the manager to support in all credit-related matters.

Specific Responsibilities
As an account officer, you will be performing an independent commercial, credit and performance risk analysis of the proposed transaction, with reference to the approved credit facilities; customer's executed security documentation and general guidelines and bank's procedures. You are required to raise appropriate ticket and obtain approval from business line, collateral and credit management and/or CRI. You will update economic position with each new deal and periodic update of important events affecting the transaction, monitor and manage transaction collateral throughout the life of the deal, in close cooperation with the client, RM, CFOC, warehouse operators and shipping companies. You will be providing timely alerts to deterioration in the risk profile and concise reporting of the client's positions with the bank, and contributing to credit proposals with focus on update/feedback on the usage/operation of the facility.

Requirements
The successful candidate needs to be a Degree holder with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience. You will have credit exposure (credit risks, security documentation, etc), collateral management experience including knowledge of inventory financing, price risk would be advantageous. You need to have good knowledge of bills operations, possess good team spirit but yet can work independently, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and be conversant with Microsoft Office tools especially Excel.
