Our client is one of the largest insurance companies in the world with businesses covering most of the major markets providing full spectrum of insurance solutions. As their business keeps expanding in Hong Kong, they are now urgently seeking a high-calibre candidate to joinas Chief Operating Officer and manage their team of experienced talents.

For this role, you will be responsible for planning, overseeing and implementing a local operational strategies in line with the global business strategic plans, managing and monitoring the costing of all operational support services, overseeing continuous improvement in overall operational efficiency, controls and reduction in operational costs. You will also support the development of product propositions, strategies and channel management initiatives for the business, deliver the change programme including operational efficiency enhancement, delivery platforms, system implementation, human resource strategy etc.
Requirements:
- Master degree holder with at least 15 years of relevant experience in Life Insurance industry is highly preferred
- Strong exposure in crisis management, country resource and project management
- Hands on experience in business transformation, strategic implementation and process design
- Strong leadership capacity with good track record of effective staff management, particularly cross-cultural
- Excellent communication skills in both spoken and written English and Chinese
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to build relationship with all levels and channels
- Outstanding analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to perform under pressure in a dynamic changing environment and meet the agreed deadline
