Position: Accountant / GL x 2
Location: Zug Canton
Salary Guide: 70,000 – 80,000 CHF Depending on Experience
Overview:
We currently have an International client in the Zug canton looking to expand their accounting / finance department by recruiting Accountant / GL to join their multinational team. This will be an ideal position for someone with 1-3 years’ experience looking to learn and develop in a dynamic international environment and achieve rapid career advancement.
Responsibilities:
· Reporting to the accounting manager and dotted line to the senior controller
· Responsible for maintaining the General Ledger and Accounts Receivable process
· Manage transactions and reports and ensure they are in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS
· Responsible for aspects of the month-end closing process
· Looking after journal entry preparations (accruals, prepaid and reclassification), balance sheet reconciliations, and analytics
· Bank reconciliation and daily cash flow
· Ad hoc accounting projects
Required Experience:
· 1-3 years of general accounting experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance – beneficial
· English – fluent verbal and written, other languages a plus
· Knowledge and understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
· Good working knowledge in Word, Outlook and advanced level Excel
· Detail oriented, independent and organized worker
· Great sense of humour required – dynamic international and fun environment!
