ACCOUNTANT- LEADING SERVICE PROVIDER (LW42)
Greenfield is proud to be working with a leading financial services firm specialised in corporate and management services (private equity and real estate closed end funds including listed and unlisted companies). Due to significant growth within the business and an influx of new client acquisition, they are looking for an Accountant to join their team. This role will be well suited to someone who is a team player, has an analytical approach and works well under pressure.
The role:
- Undertaking the bookkeeping for a portfolio of more complex alternative investment fund structures and conducting full, detailed reviews of the Trial Balances prior to submission for review by the Senior.
- Processing of payments prior to submission to other team inclusive of treasury and custodian
- Work on more complex cases as knowledge increases
- Maintain pro-active communication to ensure that the line manager is informed of current status
- Liaise with the auditors and clients
- Resolve client/auditor queries, investigating accounting entries and building reports where necessary.
The profile:
- BAC+3 in accounting or finance
- Ideally experience in alternative investment fund accounting or financial services industry
- Part-qualified in either ACCA or any other professional qualification is a plus
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
